I found SotS through an old ad that I saw just like everyone else- except I have no idea where since it was a decade ago. Wait, is it too late to share? I hope not Welcome to Rebirth! We are so happy to have you and your partner here Its so great that you love it as much as we do You will fit right in I'm glad to have found it this game! I love doing *crunchy* damage aoe's on my mage and archer, I love how satisfying it feels to heal and buff a party during combat, I love grinding levels for hours and still feeling excited to get back in the map and farm for more exp. Each class I play, I feel like I am contributing in some way. I love how important the class system is for a party. Maybe that's the nostalgia factor, but there is just something about Xen Rebirth that I find so addicting and charming and hard to put down. In my own experience I have felt that newer and flashier modern games tend to leave behind the charm that older games just seem to get right. We gave Xen Rebirth a chance (the same day Phantasy Star 2 NA was released, we dropped it for this game ) and we instantly became obsessed!! I'm so glad we did because it is exactly the kind of game we've been looking for.

We'd been on the hunt for a nostalgic-y MMO game after losing interest in some we'd been playing to our limit lol! We are 'new' players to Xen Rebirth and have been playing for about 1.5 months now.īefore finding Xen, we tried out a couple other games of similar genre, like Ragnarok private server and Secrets of Grindea (which we really enjoyed!!- but limited content atm). My partner and I came across this game from a thread on Reddit MMORPGs along the lines of." monthly obscure MMO list ". So I looked up what I could find on Solstice online, googled a bit and found the " Solstice Family Discord ". Unfortunate I couldn't retrieve my files that I stored on it. by climbing on a chair to a chair she pulled near my barricade to hop over it towards my desk with a water bottle.

Years have passed since then and from PC to Laptop to Laptop to PC I kept my files transferred only this time my PC got rekt by a hyperactive toddler no less. Tried it out and it became my first ever mmorpg that I played.

Found Ragnarok, but I had to pay for a monthly subscription fee so I tried finding something else and waddaya know " Secret of the Solstice " and Free to Play. lol thought there might be a online version of something like a RPG. At the time years ago, after playing Final Fantasy 7 original, Chrono Trigger, Tales of Phantasia and other RPG's always wondered what a multiplayer RPG woulda been like since there weren't many of it at the time and I was pretty much hooked to RPG's.Īfter finally getting this thing you guys might have heard of years ago being introduced to us it's called.
